Axis 2 : Attitude of the foreigner towards the local

The second axis brings together the episodes that convey the feelings of the foreigner towards the local. By asking the participating individuals to play either themselves or counter roles, throughout the session, people explore the foreigner and the foreigner within themselves. Building upon the dialectical relationship of identity and otherness and acknowledging that I cannot exist without you, and we, in turn, cannot exist without others, conditions of both distance and proximity are created, leading to feelings of hostility and marginalisation on one side, and connection and identification on the other.
