TT8 2026

The TT8 showcasing scheme is designed as the project’s main public-facing dissemination mechanism, ensuring that the artistic outputs produced through the residencies circulate across territories, reach diverse audiences, and gain visibility at both local and European levels. Showcases function not only as presentation moments (exhibitions and performances), but also as networking hubs that bring together artists, cultural professionals, researchers, institutions, and community members. Through these events, TT8 strengthens cultural exchange by giving artists a platform to share their perspectives and creative processes, while also amplifying the visibility of the project and the Creative Europe programme.

A core strategic principle of TT8 is to embed presentations within existing, recurrent festival contexts, which ensures high-quality artistic framing and broad audience access. Key showcase platforms include SONICA Festival (organised by MoTA) and Maintenant Festival (organised by Electroni[k]). In parallel, local partners activate their infrastructures and networks to secure venues and conditions that maximise feasibility and impact, such as MoTA’s MoTA Lab for exhibition hosting, and MENTOR’s long-term collaborations with local public cultural bodies in Eleusis.

The showcasing phase is implemented through two complementary formats:

  1. Exhibitions, offering sustained public access to installations and audiovisual works, and
  2. Performances, enabling live encounters with sound and audiovisual practices in festival settings.

What will happen in each pilot city

  • Eleusis (Greece)
In Eleusis, MENTOR will host two artists, coordinate their residencies, and work with local cultural partners to present the results through a public programme of exhibitions and performances.
  • Ljubljana (Slovenia)
In Ljubljana, MoTA will host two artist residencies, followed by public showcase moments connected to MoTA’s ecosystem, including performances and artwork presentations within the SONICA Festival, as well as an exhibition at MoTA Lab.
  • Rennes (France)
In Rennes, Electroni[k] will host two artist residencies and present the project’s artistic outcomes through performances and exhibitions, integrated into the Maintenant Festival, reaching both local audiences and international cultural networks.
  • Yerevan (Armenia)
TAI extends TT8’s reach beyond the EU by bringing the project’s artistic outcomes to Armenia. In Yerevan, TAI will host a showcase presenting the final works through an exhibition, alongside an artist talk and an open discussion with project partners, creating space for exchange, reflection, and new connections between European and Armenian cultural communities.

Showcase outputs (by territory and format)

  • MENTOR (Greece): Exhibition + Performances
  • MoTA (Slovenia): Performance at SONICA Festival + Exhibition at MoTA Lab
  • Electroni[k] (France): Performance + Exhibition at Maintenant Festival
  • TAI (Armenia): Exhibition + Artist talk + Open discussion with project partners

Overall, the TT8 showcasing scheme ensures that the project’s artistic productions are presented in multiple contexts and territories, maximising impact, supporting cross-border circulation of artists and works, and translating TT8’s participatory, data-driven methodology into accessible public experiences.
