Axis 1 : Negative feelings about the city and its environment

This axis records all the negative emotions that residents/participants express about their city and its urban environment (factories, the port, etc.), such as anger, feelings of abandonment and neglect, nostalgia for the past, and the sense of security that once existed, resignation from a better future, as well as sadness

Here, the participants found space and began to list the negative emotions they feel/experience due to the systematic and historical degradation of the environment, with a focus on each individual's relationship with the sea (Episode 1).

We have isolated three moments from the rich data analysis in order to convey the emotions, thoughts, and experiences cultivated by the residents of Eleusis in relation to the sea, the abandoned heavy industry of the past century, and the Archaeological Site that dominates the city centre.
