EMPLOYMENT

Axis 3, Episode 49, Galvanic Skin Response Graph, S1

In 1892, the Old Oil Mill was established, providing new jobs. The chemical waste from soap production ended up in the sea of Eleusis. In exchange for the effects of pollution, the factory donated huge quantities of soap to the employees.

The project was based on biometric data collected from a silent and individually responsible participant. The graph measuring the galvanic reaction of the skin was used as a score for the movement of the soap on the grinder. The image of boiling without sound is a reference to anger that is not expressed in words.
